Midnight
Another summer in the Midwest
Tell me what the plan is, I'm in
Only a couple months till college
You can tell me all about it
No care
Living in your car with your dog
You were doing anything you wanted
Take a trip out to the pier
I can meet you there
If I don't play your song
Then I don't cry no more
If I don't think too hard
It doesn't last too long
(It's just like it was when we were bright and young)
You said, "I love you, but I aint getting much in return"
I need to learn to keep my mouth shut
I need to learn to put you first
Some things are better off
Now, I just spent a few months on the road
I am coming back home to Bedford
Have another Midwest summer
Stay up all night long
If I don't play your song
Then I don't cry no more
If I don't think too hard
It doesn't last too long
Midnight
Another summer in the Midwest
Show me a song you love and we can ride around and listen to it over and over
I just spent a few months on the road
I am coming back home to Bedford
Although I feel like a stranger a little more every time
If I don't play your song
Then I don't cry no more
I will come and go forever
On and on

the evolution of citizen is almost identical to the typical depiction of human evolution. As you please strays from the previous releases while containing raw emotion. ghøstbødy
The second EP from Northern Irish singer-songwriter Bea Stewart runs from gentle folk to pillowy pop ballads, all perfectly executed. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 15, 2024
One of my favorite albums of all time. Turnover really hit a sound here that resonates with me deeply, and I often find myself coming back to this record and falling in love with it all over again. The drums and bass are greatly underrated on this album, creating their own unique melodies that fit within the song and create something new rather than just follow the guitars. Nothing beats the somehow joyful and somber sound of this record. Rob Carpenter
